gruyère -

Gruyère is a hard textured cheese made from raw cow's milk from the Gruyère region of Switzerland. Gruyère cheese is named after the village where this cheese was first made.

This cheese skin is wrinkled and natural brown. Gruyère cheese has a resemblance to Emmental cheese, but Gruyère cheese has a darker yellow color. In addition, Gruyère maturation process longer than Emmental so that the texture is more dense and it feels more assertive.
