Ädelost is a Swedish blue cheese made with pasteurized cow's milk. This cheese has a resemblance to Bleu d'Auvergne cheese. The bluish-gray mushroom pattern is evenly distributed throughout this part of the cheese.

The flavor of this cheese is sharp and salty. This cheese has a shape like a drum or cylinder with a pale creamy part of the skin. This cheese is sold with the size of 18 centimeters in diameter, 10 centimeters in height and weighs about 2.5 kilograms.

Cheese Ädelost has a fat content of 50% and the maturation process takes 2 to 3 months. This cheese is a suitable cheese in addition to salads or for snacks and desserts.
