pronunciation: [pasta kon le sarde], Sicilian: Pasta chî sardi) is a Sicilian
pasta dish with sardines and anchovies. This dish is recognized as a
traditional Italian food product, in the Prodotto agroalimentare tradizionale
scheme (protection of local agribusiness products) from the Italian government.
This dish is generally associated with the capital of Sicily, Palermo, but can
also be found throughout the island.
