Gorgonzola is soft-textured blue cheese from pasteurized pasteurized milk from Italy. Penicillin mushrooms are greenish-blue is added to this cheese so it feels to be sharp and spicy.


Gorgonzola cheese is made in a village in northern Italy named after this cheese. This cheese is usually wrapped in tin foil to keep the moisture away.


Gorgonzola color varies from white to yellow straw with veins that are green or blue-green. The taste of this cheese depends on the length of maturation, the longer the maturation time the sharper the cheese becomes.
