Wakame is one of the typical Japanese food sized thin, dark green and stringy. Wakame is a kind of seaweed that lives in Japanese waters. This type of seaweed is commonly used as green vegetables for Japanese society. Wakame is eaten in two ways: dry and wet. Wakame is not only used by Japanese, but also by Koreans and Chinese.
