Sainte-Maure de Touraine is a cheese from the Touraine province of France that uses pasteurized pasteurized milk. This cheese is rolled with a diameter of 5 to 8 [centimeters] and a length of 28 centimeters.

The cheese skin is filled with mushrooms but most of this cheese uses ash to cover the skin. The inside of this cheese is white. A straw is paired in the middle of this cheese and makes it easy to remove.

This cheese was recorded in the book "Touraine in Time of Balzac" ("Touraine in Time of Balzac") written by Laurencin. Sainte-Maure de Touraine is a cheese that has been guaranteed quality by AOC. Meanwhile, Sainte-Maure cheese is also a goat's milk cheese from the Touraine region but is not certified by the AOC.
