prästost -

Prästost is a semi-hard textured Swedish cheese made with cow's milk. This cheese has the meaning of "cheese monk". Prästost cheese was first made in the 16th century when farmers had to pay tithes to local priests in milk.

The cheese is now only made by the factory. This cheese has a smooth texture and a little soft and has several irregular holes that are the size of rice.

The taste of this cheese is sour and sweet and its lactate leaves a sharp taste on the tongue. Prästost cheese has a wheel-like shape. This cheese skin section is yellow and coated with yellow cloth and night substance.
