dacryocystitis - www.healthnote25.com |
Dacryocystitis is
a teardrop inflammation often found in dogs and cats. The first symptoms begin
with swelling or bloating in the inner corner of the eye area.
If the area is pressed with
a finger, its contents will come out in tandem with tears. The outflow may be
liquid with mucus or pus, depending on the duration of inflammation. The skin
near the swelling area will turn shiny and red. Dacryocystitis often arises
suddenly, and lasts chronic.
