Benefits of enokitake mushrooms

This mushroom is widely used in a variety of soup dishes in Japan, Korea, Chinese cuisine, and Vietnam. Mushrooms have a crisp texture and a fresh aroma. The root part needs to be cut before use in cooking. Fresh resistant mushrooms are stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Enokitake mushrooms are very easy to cultivate and have been cultivated in Japan since more than 300 years ago. Enokitake can be planted alone at home provided the temperature is quite cool. In China, this fungus is often used in traditional medicine to treat constipation.

Usually this fungus is used in foods - foods that smell of Asia. This mushroom is also widely used as a salad (where the best taste of this mushroom can be enjoyed), soup and also often fried with vegetables and meat.
