neufchâtel -

Neufchâtel is a cheese derived from the Haute-Normandy region of France that has a soft texture with a cylindrical shape or heart. AOC certified Neufchâtel cheese can only be produced in the Seine-Maritime department in east Normandy. The texture of the cheese is soft but a little rough. This cheese is covered with skin that is white and soft as a feather.
