Cheshire is
a hard-textured English cheese produced with pasteurized pasteurized milk. This
cheese is also known as Chester. Some cheese makers still make Cheshire cheese
using raw milk. The traditional form of this cheese is round with a weight of
20 kilograms.
But this cheese is also
produced by the form of blocks or wheels. The texture of this cheese is rough
and the skin is brownish yellow. The process of chewing Cheshire cheese takes 3
to 6 months. Cheshire cheese has another version of Shropshire blue which is a
blue cheese. The blue color on Shropshire blue is produced from annatto which
is also used on Stilton cheese.
