Patbingsu or patbingsoo is a very
popular Korean dessert, especially on hot summer days.
These snacks are first known as red shaved red kidney beans (팥, pat) sold in street vendors. In ancient times and now, patbingsu is a
very popular food, with additional variations of ice cream and cold yogurt,
sweetened condensed milk, fruits syrup, fruits such as strawberries, bananas,
tteok rice cakes, chewy gelatin and crumbs - weak cereal.
