baklava -

Baklava is a kind of snack in the Turkish region and the areas where the former Ottoman Empire rule. This food consists of walnuts or pistaches that are chopped and sweetened (sugar or honey) and wrapped in thin bread dough. Baklava itself has been very long documented. One of the oldest pieces of evidence is the baklava recipe in a 14th century recipe book found in China.
