White
tea
(白茶) is
the dried tea leaf shoots after being picked off without roasting or oxidizing.
Just like green tea, oolong tea and black tea, white tea comes from the
Camellia sinensis plant.
White tea sometimes contains
flower buds and tea leaf buds with caffeine content which is then known to be
lower than that of older leaves, so it can be concluded that white tea contains
less caffeine than green tea.
