Yugwa or yumilgwa is a variation of hangwa, or
traditional candy in Korean, by frying a mixture of wheat flour and honey. Its
name is commonly abbreviated as yugwa, but its original name is yumilgwa after
cooking procedure: frying and grilling. These foods are generally divided into
two categories: yakgwa (약과)
and gangjeong (강정).
