Yaksik or
yakbap (literally "drug food" or "rice medicine") is a kind
of tteok or rice cake made from sticky rice steamed and mixed with chestnuts,
jujube and pine nuts, then fed with honey or red sugar, oil sesame, soy sauce
and sometimes cinnamon. Yaksik is usually eaten on Jeongwol Daeboreum (정월 대보름), or the first full moon on
the lunar calendar.
