Trachoma is
a contagious eye disease and is one of the causes of blindness. Trachoma is
caused by Chlamydia trachomatis bacteria with flies as its intermediate.
Trakomas are more common in countries with low levels of hygiene and dry and
hot climates such as countries in the Asian and African continents. In
addition, trachoma also often attack children and ultimately cause blindness
that can not be treated decades later.
