Panini (Italian, panini [paniːni]) is a sandwich that comes from Italy. For most countries that use English, the word panini is a plural word from panino that means "sandwich". And panini usually uses baked whole bread instead of bread cut.

Types of bread commonly used to make panini include baguette, ciabatta, rosetta, and michetta. The bread is then cut horizontally and is usually filled with sliced processed meats such as salami, mortadella or prosciutto along with cheese, tomato and tuna slices. And panini usually served warm after baking using a special press machine called panini press.
