Gandaria (Bouea macrophylla Griffith) or other local name jatake is a plant originating from the archipelago of Indonesia and Malaysia. This plant grows in the tropics, and is widely cultivated in Sumatra and Thailand.

Gandaria used fruit, leaves, and stems. Gandaria fruit is green when young, and is often consumed as a salad or mixed sambal gandaria. The yellow gandaria is ripe yellow, has a sweet taste and can be eaten directly. The leaves are used as a salad. Gandaria stems can be used as a board. Gandaria is the identity flora of West Java.
