Dacriocystitis is an infection of the lacrimal sac or tear ducts located near the nose. This infection causes pain, redness, and swelling of the lower eyelid, as well as the occurrence of excessive tearing (epifora). This inflammation is often caused by nasalkyalalis obstruction by S. aureus, S. pneumoniae, Pseudomonas.
