Ambuyat is a dish that comes from the inside of a sago tree. This food is a food made of flour, similar to tapioca flour. Ambuyat is a national dish of Brunei, and is a well-known local food in Malaysia, Sarawak and Sabah states as well as the Labuan federal region where sometimes known as linut.

Ambuyat is eaten with a bamboo fork called chandas, by rolling the starch around the fork and then dipping it into the sauce, which has a lot of variety.

There is a similar dish in eastern Indonesia called papeda.
